I usually use plus addressing.
But that can get awkward when I'm trying to confirm my email address with someone over the phone (happens on occasion), especially when I have the name of the company in the plus address. I've answered questions multiple times about what it is and why it works... Customer support folks usually aren't aware.
Though when an input form tells me "+" is an invalid email address character....🤬
