"The National Weather Service yesterday extended heat advisories and warnings for 7-8 days (!), including Sacramento and the Bay Area with temperatures soaring well into the 90s/100s and 110s for inland areas. Heat stress will rapidly accumulate over the coming days with warm nights providing little to no relief from high temperatures."
