In 2018, I turned 35. Something about that number felt pivotal to me. I took a look at myself and realized I wasn't happy with how I looked or how I felt. I was 5'6" and close to 175 lbs. That wasn't a good look on my kind of frame. I drank everyday that I wasn't on duty. Changes needed to happen and I realized I was the only one who could address it. This 45lb plate was part of that new beginning.
