I think many leftists have lost faith in compromise because they look at all the times they have been undermined by neoliberal entryism in formerly socal democratic parties and all the times liberals prevented them from implementing their goals. I don't entirely blame them, but when fascism is around the corner, we can set that aside until the threat of a hypernationalist, white-supremacist dictatorship is neutralized.
