The closer people come to power, the more status quo, that is right wing, they become, it seems. If not even more right wing than that. What is this phenomenon? Feels crazy conspiratorial
No longer for banning fracking (ok, maybe that's fine if it will be outcompeted by renewables anyway?), not as staunch on giving people free healthcare without businesses ripping people off, no longer for mandatory assault weapons buyback, etc..? Is this right? Is this what the US people wants?
