A power prong is fine to connect to, But 100% for any sort of USB plug in, especially in airports.
Carry your own rechargeable battery. And / or buy a power only (no data) USB cord. They sell them on Amazon.
Put a piece of colored tape that you labeled on the cord. That way it won't get mixed up with other cords and you can confirm that it is yours and someone hasn't swapped it out on you.
Use this cord also for any sort of air gapped hardware wallet you may own.
Also it should go without saying but never use a USB stick you might find somewhere.
