Have you ever had an invoice sent to you with bank account details on the bottom for remittance?

Before sending payment it's good practice to VERBALLY confirm the details are correct with the vendor.

Sometimes emails are compromised in #businessemailcompromise attacks where hackers access accounts and alter invoices, changing over the banking details and diverting funds to a bank account they control. Often vendors don't know they have been compromised.
