My suggestion: if you’re building a Fediverse project, don’t build it for folks already using it. Most Fedi folks are happy with how things are and don’t want change.
Instead, build for anyone not on the Fediverse. Solve their problems first.
Ignore the peanut gallery—for your problem, they might as well not exist.
