I used to have a friend who’d say things like, “can’t you see you’re hurting your music by talking about politics all the time?”

Maybe if I had some notion times were normal and hunky dory, I’d be okay pretending not to be worried about bad guys, disease, or weather. But I can not and will not pretend I don’t know shit because it pisses someone off who “believes” something else. I strongly feel “smart” folks doing this landed us here. I’m not the one.
