So, nearly 4 million people voted for Reform, while nearly 2m voted Green... yet both parties look (with only nine seats left to declare) to have got four seats each.
The media will use the number of votes to focus on Reform not the Greens, but for the Greens this looks (finally) like a larger base to build on for the next election.
I wish them well, knowing that if we do manage electoral reform they would be well-place to capitalise on it!
Sadly, so would Reform!
