Sorry I've not been on Mastodon much. Just wanted to to explain a little bit. Not that I expect anyone has noticed (lol) but I still feel like I should explain.

It's been a difficult year so far. Personally, financially. And last week I got hit w severe food poisoning. I'll skip the details & just say it was violent & horrendous. I literally prayed for death. Recovery is going very, very slowly.

My silence is bc I've been dealing w real life & I don't post about my personal life. Mostly for privacy reasons & bc I try to keep things as positive as I can. So I've not had much to say. But it's also because I still feel like a stranger on this platform. It's been hard for me to overcome that.

But I hope people know I'm not trying to be standoffish. I'm just struggling - a lot - and other than a few quick posts that I hope people enjoy - I just haven't been able to participate in anything more than that.

It's been a rough year.

Anyway, I just wanted to explain.
