Two key things I think will make it so governments won’t tax bitcoin transactions:
1) merchants and their lobbyists want your bitcoin
2) wrapped bitcoin tokens are needed for use on shitcoin rails, which too many scammers, including rich lobbyists and the president, want to happen— and I think I read somewhere wrapped tokens can be taxed (never had to wrap my bitcoin so I don’t know for sure!) which would potentially slow the scams down somewhat
