Worth seeing, yep bottom of a water heater tank collects a lot of junk & really should be drained every 6 months. The sediment buster trick is a way to backflow w/some air from a hand pump to open up any sediment clog & let all the debris flow out. Hot water tanks can also have bacteria growing on the top of the warm water so once drained, refill & rinse tank a 2nd time, get it all out.
