Apparently too much of the other one (Cassia cinnamon - from China) contains coumarin, which can be toxic. In rodents, coumarin is known to cause kidney, liver and lung damage. Many people like it more because it has a stronger, spicier flavor… and a few times won’t kill you, but I imagine if you are drinking this tea often it could build up and become toxic. orangepiller.org
