I don't believe your premise is correct, but I'll entertain it. Humans don't just stop working because their jobs begone unnecessary. They instead find or make new work, branching out into completely new industries or disciplines that weren't even pipe dreams previously. Space exploration alone will turn up plenty of jobs for people.
If you like these kinds of theories, you should read more sci-fi. This sort of speculation is nothing new.
