#WritersCoffeeClub Aug 7: What is the best thing you've done or might do to a reader's state of mind?
Make them empathize with the mentally ill. That's the point of my current project. They (we) are not to be feared. They/we need help. They/we can be extremely vulnerable, especially if it intersects with other vulnerable states: gender, race, disability, homelessness, youth, etc.
