what I'll call the Google model of customer service. That is to say, no
accountability. Google didn't really pioneer this. Corporations have
always been a means of dodging accountability, more or less. Google
and Silicon Valley just took it to the next level.
Megacorps are not and have never been a good idea.

People talk about the enshitification of the web. What I see coming
are unheard-of levels of enshitification in physical space, unless we can
put a stop to it. Also enshitification is inversely correlated with autonomy / control.
AI? Virtual reality? These are tools that will be used to steal autonomy
from people, and enshitification is the inevitable result of that.
