The third edition of the 'Fortissimo' international show jumping competition, organized by the UAE Equestrian Federation, kicked off at the Emirates Equestrian Centre in Seih Al Salam, Dubai, with the participation of 165 riders from 32 countries on 234 horses. The competition, which will run for three days, features 12 international events and offers prizes worth AED 344,000. The competition is the first international show jumping competition of the UAE season, and it is one of 15 international competitions of all levels of show jumping in the UAE. The competition is supervised by the International Federation for Equestrian Sports, the UAE Equestrian Federation, and the Longines company, which is also the main sponsor. The competition has set up many food and beverage stands, as well as equestrian equipment and horse supplies, showcasing the latest products and innovations. The event has also set up a location near the main arena, making it easy for the public to access and enjoy the events. The competition is expected to attract more spectators and families to enjoy the various events organized by the organizing committee, which will continue throughout the competition days in a wonderful rural atmosphere. In the opening round of 'Fortissimo', our rider, Shihab Salem Al-Karbi, won the competition with 'Eska Arizona Top' with a thrilling performance, completing the two rounds with a height of 110 cm, and a total of 78 riders and riders participated. The competition reached its climax between 28 riders and riders who completed the two rounds without errors, with Shihab Al-Karbi taking the top spot on the podium after winning by a narrow margin.
