That is the unnecessary problem for people that change router and or cable modem!
I am currently configuring my firewall on the LAN side of my old router, so I don't expect it is the ISP throwing wrenches in my gears, but I need to look out for that.
Just in case, I am spoofing the hardware address of my old router, perhaps that is causing the problem, funky things can happen if multiple devices have the same MAC address ...
Will try to turn that off.
