To this day, I'm very proud of what I achieved with that group, especially given I was a teenager, and only just beginning my own political education. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't intimidated by those older guys at first. It would have been *much* more comfortable to avoid them than to engage with them, especially given I knew there was no certainty I could influence them. But I'll never regret trying, then or since.
