There’s something really satisfying about consolidation of infrastructure. It’s an interesting one to think about.
For example: in the 1990s homes would typically have both phone lines + coax coming into the home. As well as water + gas + electricity. Five inputs total.
In the 2020s a lot of that infra has been swapped for just three inputs: fiber + water + electricity.
