In the most recent #Time article about #ElSalvador, #Bitcoin, & #Bukele, I believe we see the power of Bitcoin outside of financial gain. It is not about number go up or preserving capital, but it is solely and purely about the network effect and devoted user base of Bitcoin itself. This is an idea petermccormack (npub14mc…frlx) has coined as the “Bitcoin Cheat Code” and for every first mover, there is significant advantage. When will a church? Significant nonprofit? Standard non-tech business adopt a the “cheat code”?
