ugh, there’s a matching great essay I read recently on this but can’t find right now (I thought it was John Ganz but i am not seeing it in his recent archive). The left (broadly) still doesn’t appear to understand this sort of anger, at all—there’s zero theory of how to capture or even just mute it.
