White Lotus season 3 was meh af... *spoiler alert*
Stole plot lines from previous season to "beef up" the stitched together new one that was barely hanging on by a thread. Just a copy/paste framework at this point, but with no twists.
The character building had me not caring for anyone. It seemed dry and obtuse. Left hanging all the ones it tried to steer you in. Does the guard and the girl really hook up? Did the actress' fiance cheat on her? Do the Russian thieves just go unpunished? (Why the fuck even add the robbery bit if it had zero impact on the overarching story) Does the southern family become broke and dad arrested?
So many things left unanswered or cared about concluding so then why should I care? I can't even tell you what the primary story/message was really about this season. Maybe about how you should not let your anger and/or greed get the best of you?
Overall felt like a cash grab. What a waste of time.
