Benjamin Lay (1682–1759), a bold 4-foot-tall Quaker dwarf who stood against tyranny. He defiantly kidnapped a slave master's child to show the cruelty of slavery, appealed to conscience over law, and used free market tactics to fight bondage - showing that living by one's values creates change.
