And ultimately voting against you? \n\nApparently, Scholastic objected to the author's note, not the story—which speaks for itself. I believe they could have talked about racism—I'm asking *how* it could have been done in a way that got the point across, and still got the book published. \n\nI'm trying to get beyond the us/them, either/or thinking.
