Primal is well known for censoring, they have been working quite diligently to fight spam and whatever their founders consider undesirable content, censoring is a quiet difficult task... Personally I dislike their approach, the censoring in a platform which ethos is to fight censorship is the least ironic... Choose your relays carefully.
Choosing clients that let the user do the censoring is the logical course of action, a open source android nostr client (nprofile…z24k) does that job very well, best tool out there if you use Android, for desktop iris.to is so far doing a decent job.
If you are not savvy about #Nostr you will need to learn a bit about NWC (Network Wallet Connect), and connect a wallet like coinos.io, which is decent, although Wallet of Satoshi is best for most noons
