“User data is never available to Apple — even to staff with administrative access to the production service or hardware”
This is a pretty impressive technical achievement if true. The privacy team at apple built a custom OS and hardware because they don’t even trust employees at apple, which is smart.
There isn’t even remote shell access to the machines. 😯
Really excited about more private cloud computing setups like this.
