Got novel+short story recently. realized it’s been long enough I need to go back, reread the series before I can read the new stuff.
This is a somewhat common occurrence for me with a series.
Luckily I read quickly.
For example, when GRR came out with Dance of Dragons I went back and reread all of Song of Ice and Fire.
Got huge insight into how much better written it was than I remembered - the whole thing flowed really well.
