The fact that his work is rooted in popular education and the Brazilian social movements of the late 20th c., the early adoption of tech tools and platforms, the solidarity economy strategy that integrates political/policy struggles and bottom-up construction of alternative economic circuits -- all of this makes it exciting to me.
