So, yesterday I sent off the final batch of my mostly-metal CD collection, which I sold in bulk to a friend and music dealer in Australia.
I bought my first CD in 1993. If I count right, over the years I bought CDs in six different countries. The collection represents a huge part of my life, especially my life in metal. Now it's gone.
Happy I did it--I couldn't take the collection with me where I'm going--but it's bittersweet too.
