Listening to Twitch livestreamer CohhCarnage present an interesting use case for generative AIML: in video games without voice acting, he often has to read all the text, leading to sore throat/diminished performance after/recovery time.
He makes the point that voice actors will always be preferable, but he's exploring the idea of using a generative AI to read game text in his own voice if there's no voice acting.
