Parenthood really is the strangest thing if like most couples around me you only have a few kids. You accept this big, intricate, time-consuming, vastly important, extremely rewarding, life-changing task. It becomes a huge part of what you do. And then one day, a quarter century later, you've accomplished it. The kids are working or at college. And you're still almost 20 years from retirement. Now what?!
