Nothing can be bad in every possible way, there has to be something appealing. But to be bad, it has to be only one essential evil. I could name many such evils of religion. Commandments as morality, the concept of original sin, dichotomies between morality and practicality, rationality and emotion, sex (as a good end in itself) and love, faith as certainty and truth. I can show why for any of these.
