I was inspired by this show by @PeterMcCormack and @ODELL . Bitcoiners should know better than using the mark of Elon.
I have decided to move my Bitcoin reading over to Nostr. I believe the best #Bitcoin voices are/ will be here.
For football and other «normal life stuff», I’ll still need to use the bird app, but will try to minimize time spent.
I am starting to unfollow most(!) Bitcoiners Twitter and update my followings on #Nostr.
I hope this will both give me better signal from the best voices, and also free up lost time scrolling through meaningless posts that doesn’t give me much.
I have recently also cleaned my podcasts followings.
I now find more time to read books and listen to audiobooks again. And also easier to prioritize podcasts about history. I had replaced some of them with lesser Bitcoin podcasts.
I don’t need to hear the same/ similar thoughts on all kinds of philosophy and «life wisdom» again and again. There are simple top many voices out there. I need to focus my time better. Have a healthy porportsion of «Bitcoin life» and «normal life».
Still follow the best Bitcoin podcasts, of course😉.
