In a perfect world, companies would pay me to get them out of the hands of cloud providers instead of doing the opposite.
Why do these companies have highly overpaid people sitting on their boards if they don't even consider risks like tying your core infrastructure to mostly US providers?
Why do they think it's okay to pay a ~50% premium instead of just investing in their own employees and teams to run their stuff? Hell, even if the critters unionized you'd have more sway over them than over big tech hyperscalers.
