To be honest, for me that album stands head and shoulders above everything else of his. I'd start with it and go no further! After that he turned towards Smooth Jazz and never really looked back, which is a shame.
The reason why that album occurred to me is that Lorber went on to produce for Kenny G, the master of insipid saxophone.
