I temporarily got around the translation problem in Damus by creating a shortcut on the iPhone “app shortcut”, 1- get clipboard 2- translate, checking the option for native language, 3- show. Go to accessibility / touch, choose the created shortcut. Now, whenever you want, just copy the Note and double-tap the back of the cell phone, which will open a window with the translation! 😬👍
