Is there a good book for someone who's done a bit of C++ (spent one year writing it full-time almost a decade ago but haven't touched it since) and wants to re-learn C++?
I tried some of the books from Google's top hit for C++ book suggestions, which is supposedly a curated list of good books (
https://stackoverflow.com/q/388242/334816), and I haven't found anything useful yet.
The first book I looked up had fairly credible negative reviews and was also written in 2001 and therefore doesn't cover modern C++.
