Any #teachers have tips on how to help students who aren't used to having to work hard to learn how to work hard?
I'm teaching an advanced chemistry class and really battling some attitudes right now. This particular class isn't used to not getting things immediately and is really pushing back on the idea that they might have to actually _apply_ themselves.
Any advice is appreciated.
