Good morning tooters. I don’t know about you guys but that was a pretty chilly night last night. It’s about 11c now but feels cooler & we’re heading to a very pleasant 23c #Weather. I did pull up the spare blanket & was very thankful to have it. I almost feel like I wanted to take the summer blanket off & put the warmer quilt on, but the temps will rise again this week. I did have my winter dressing gown on first up this morning but that didn’t last & just have my Ugg slippers on instead & I’m warm.
I have re fed my sourdough starter this morning & have everything ready to put a loaf together. That probably won’t occur until this afternoon being a cooler day. That’s fine, I’ll let the loaf prove & rise overnight & into the morning then put it in the banneton & in the fridge for another night & bake it Tuesday morning. So a long ferment, but it will be a tasty loaf #Baking.
Perfect weather to get out into the garden today, & it’s already looking beautiful outside but I also want some more regular exercise & after a shower I’ve decided to go for a good walk. My hips feel a little sore & a good walk will stretch it out.
