I've been reading about solarpunk and it's kind of amazing how many of the "quirky little interests" I've developed these last few years fit into the solarpunk ethos.
Cyberpunk may have attractive aesthetics, but it's difficult to unwind admiration of cyberpunk from the grim dystopian vision it offers.
Solarpunk > Cyberpunk
(even if I like futuristic neon and rainy Tokyo)
