In 1956 Charlton Heston portrayed Moses in "The Ten Commandments". I have yet to watch.
In 1998 Val Kilmer portrayed Moses in "The Prince of Egypt". I was informed of its existence a couple of days ago, and watched this movie today.
Really enjoyed the film. While it did take license with the story from Exodus it remained true to the story.
