I think someday plebs who have fat UTXOs will be rubbing shoulders with banking conglomerates, governments, central banks, massive corporations and billionaires on-chain.
Most of the world will be using Lightning and other scaling solutions. A lot of it will be custodial, some of it won’t be. Will not be feasible for regular people to gain an economical sized UTXO on-chain anymore.
My guess is with purchasing power appreciation of sats and the hyper-whales using Bitcoin on-chain for daily settlement, sats/vb will perpetually be bid up so that peasants can’t afford to transact there.
Could be wrong but this is a future I can see materializing. Those pleb holdovers from the before times who control economical UTXOs in this environment will be extremely powerful.
