HB3 Bill in short requires children 14 & under must provide parental consent to social media in order to create an account. This also enforces aside from social media pornographic websites to be required to verify identification of ip addresses that attempt to access the website. With that the government also demands that all social platforms must provide tools to decrypt all encrypted content & restrict features for "minor accounts" such as expiring messages e2ee in dms & all social content be in full disclosure to parents. This means if a parent has a social account they must identify whos their children & all their childrens content they will be able to fully monitor.
In other words no privacy for teens, everythings 100% exposed to parents, platforn moderators, & government. Now if this isn't infringing on the constitution then idk what is. But that's how our system works. A fucked up law gets passed takes months & possibly years to combat to rescind & by the time it does the government will have done what they wanted.
The real reason this law was passed is not to as they always bullshit the world. Protect the children were establishing KOSA (Kids Online Safety Act) BULLDSHIT!
