Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Defense, met today, Monday, with Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Sabah, Minister of Defense of the State of Kuwait, on the sidelines of the International Defense Exhibition IDEX 2025, during its 17th edition in Abu Dhabi. He welcomed the Kuwaiti Defense Minister, stressing the depth of the relations between the two countries and their peoples, and the positive developments in bilateral relations in all fields, led by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and his brother, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, in a way that serves their common interests and contributes to the progress of the Gulf Cooperation Council. He expressed his sincere wishes to the State of Kuwait and its people for further progress and prosperity. The meeting discussed the importance of strengthening cooperation in all fields, particularly in the defense sector, at the level of training and experience exchange, with the aim of upgrading the military personnel's capabilities and confirming their possession of all skills, knowledge, and capabilities necessary to perform their national duties in the best way, and ensuring the highest levels of security and stability for the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in general, and confirming their ability to deter and face any challenges. During the meeting, several common topics of interest were reviewed, including the latest developments in the regional and international arenas, and the situation in the Middle East, with emphasis on the importance of supporting international efforts aimed at finding effective solutions to end the conflict and establish comprehensive and lasting peace based on justice.
