nothing surprise me with voters any more. In South Africa our convicted ex-President started up his own political party only 4 months ago or so, and took 15% of the national vote this week away from the ruling party. He still faces further court cases in March 2025. He won't be eligible to be an MP because of his criminal sentence, but he aims to do a coalition deal in exchange for a pardon. Just no shame.
