One thing I haven't seen covered in the news very much, which deserves a lot more attention: MoneyGram has been down for more than a week after reporting a cybersecurity incident.
MoneyGram is used by foreign workers in the US and elsewhere to send money home, and it moves billions annually. Services went dark and the company hasn't been forthcoming about what's happening.
What's more, the disruption caused the UK Post Office to spike a contract with MoneyGram.
This is a really big deal.
