I've read and heard arguments that using ChatGPT to summarise lectures or notes would improve students' efficiency, but that's no different from borrowing your top-of-the-class friend's notes and then wondering why you didn't do as well as your friend.
It's not the notes that enable your friend to get top marks, it's their own work that went into making those notes.
