And the enormous stress we put on pregnant people, including those who do not want to be pregnant, weaves trauma into the very fabric of our existence. Our bodies are literally formed in an environment overshadowed by work, debt, abandonment, pain, and exhaustion.
It is a miracle that any of us find joy and resist oppressors.
